Ray's relationship with God began at a very young age. Because of the influence of his parents (Ray & Bev), Ray learned the truth of his own sinfulness and Christ's gift of salvation and came to child-like faith at the age of six.
Also at a young age, Ray became involved in creative arts. Throughout High School, he was involved in numerous plays, musicals, speech competitions and of course, Teens Involved. It was at the Word of Life Bible Institute that Ray came to understand the potential of theatre as a ministry tool. He is still actively involved with the Drama Teams at the Bible Institute.
A graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Business, Ray is currently in pursuit of a Master's of Education.
Ray is involved in many different facets of the Word of Life International ministry. He writes and directs plays for the Island, Snow Camp and the Bible Institute, coaches actors for Gospel Productions, takes the stage at various times as an actor or emcee. His time in the office is spent writing or coordinating new ministry ventures.

Drama Ministry
Part of Ray's ministry is to write and produce dramas that teach the truth of scripture in creative ways. Ray has written 12 1-act ministry plays as well as a number of skits, monologues and poems. Scripts are available for free download on the Resources page. Each fall and spring 2 of Ray's plays are produced by a traveling team in the Northeast United States. To read a description of the active productions, preview the scripts or get information about hosting a performance visit the Traveling Productions page.
